It’s amazing how far one step can take you. Each day, we ask for the direction and guidance we need – doing the next right thing. Some days that is a challenge, and others may feel effortless. The trick is – just keep going, one step at a time. Recovery is possible for everyone.

Thank you @PattyHajdu for taking the time out of your day to come tour our facility. It was a pleasure meeting you yesterday!

The story behind the new @bruceoake recovery centre is inspiring. Thank you @scottoake and your incredible staff for the tour, but more importantly, for taking action to make positive change in the lives of so many.

We got a little wet, but had a great time golfing with the legendary Scott Oake at yesterday’s tournament in support of the Bruce Oake Recovery Centre. The tournament, held at Glendale, helped raise over $25,000 for this important organization. Always proud to support the BORC.

Great day @GlendaleGolf put on by @chapmangolf and his team. Most importantly, it was in support of a very worthy cause, the @BruceOake recovery center. Congratulations to all on a great event and the funds you were able to raise.

Progress, not perfection. A line we hear all the time, but takes us some time to understand. We do not arrive, recovery is process. Look back on each day and find the bright spots. Remember the journey began with just one small step.

We learn to live a day at a time – after all, that is all any of us have. No matter where you are today, or what you have going on, keep it simple. Breath and be where your feet are. Every day we choose recovery, we have possibility.

Today is a day to reflect, listen, and acknowledge the hardships Indigenous people have faced. Use this Canada Day to understand where we started and think of where we can go. No matter how uncomfortable it may feel. We are here to listen. We hear you, and we stand with you.

"It's a good day, to have a good day" Recovery gives us the gift of choice, something most of us didn't have before we got here. One day at a time is all we have. We stay where our feet are and do the next right thing. Recovery is real, attainable and sustainable.
