At our Centenary Dinner, we were thrilled to accept this delightfully engraved quaich from our friends at @LinlithgowRFC Linlithgow were one of our first opponents back on 25/10/1924, resulting in an 8-0 (one try, one goal) win at Boghall for our hosts.
Last Saturday evening saw the Club celebrate 100 years of Broughton RFC at our Centenary Dinner held in the Village Hotel. We were delighted to have former @Scotlandteam Internationalists @SandraColam & @BBCJohnBeattie as our key speakers + entertainment from Duncan Wilson.

This weekend sees Club members, guests & friends attend our Centenary Dinner. The People’s Journal in December 1961 covered our annual dance held at Mackie’s on Princes Steet. Mackie's was torn down in 1971 & replaced by the new John Menzies flagship store.
Broughton RFC join our friends at North Berwick and clubs across the country in mourning the tragic passing of Ken Macaulay. We welcomed Ken to Wardie last week on his fundraising journey. Our thoughts are with Pat & the family during these challenging times. ❤️

A brace of Broughton wins last weekend was the perfect way to celebrate 100 years since our first ever Men’s game. On Saturday our Men defeated Forrester 33-10 at Wardie remain top of East 1, whilst our Women won on the road at Grangemouth 10-43.
100 years ago this weekend, a group of young men took to the muddy Wardie Playing Fields for their inaugural outing as Former Pupils of @BroHighOfficial against United Colleges. ⏩ a century & today celebrates a historic moment with Broughton Men playing Forrester RFC (3pm).
