Had a nice little crop tour today around Zemgale 🇱🇻. Rapeseed looks worse than expected. Wheat harvest will be late. Serious wheat lodging in some areas. Faba beans- taller than ever (photo), but with serious weevil damage. Peas- better than expected, but not great. #HarvestOf22
Summer Solstice is important event in Latvia. With many traditions from the past and new ones we make ourselves. Wearing flower crown is a must and making one is to weave your destiny. This year i have made mine from wheat and cornflowers i picked from my dads rapeseed field.
