Very lucky to have such a great charity funding my PhD!

Borne-funded scientist and NHS doctor @BrendanBrowne91 is researching the cause of normal labour initiation to prevent preterm births. We're grateful to him for visiting Norland Place School to raise awareness of his work and inspire future doctors, scientists, and researchers.

This made me scream in agony.

Delighted that @BorneCharity support my PhD project @imperialcollege @ChelwestFT Preterm birth is a major target in obstetric research but we can’t predict it and can rarely prevent it. Support the work that they support by throwing some £$€ our way.

Dr Brendan Browne, an NHS doctor and Borne funded scientist, explains how vital the research into pregnancy and childbirth is, and yet it remains overlooked and understudied. donate.thebiggive.org.uk/campaign/a0569…

I have collected the last (!) sample for the majority of my PhD on the Origins of Labour this weekend after over 2 years of sample collection, which means I just have to do my whole PhD between now and October! Love this for me.

✅ Random qPCR melt curve ✅ My only clean lab coat (XXL) ✅ Me not openly weeping in the lab Very privileged to have @BorneCharity’s support for my PhD on the transcriptomic and proteomic Origins of Labour. Please give us some money today for #WorldPrematurityDay #BorneTooSoon

Watch Borne funded clinician, Dr Brendan Browne tell us what World Prematurity Day means to him and his work. You can donate to our cause by replying to ANY of our tweets with the hashtag, #DonatetoBorne. You’ll receive a reply with a link to a donation page. #DonatetoBorne

Very proud to announce on this coming out day I remain unremarkably and incredibly gay.

It’s weird that the pancreas is just chilling inside of us and can quite literally eat us from inside out.

Not one, but TWO people fell asleep during my handover this morning. 💫 Feeling💫 💫Interesting💫

Natural killer cells killing it: a 🧵

Yesterday team members @ewhettlock and @VonWoon pubished their work tracking uterine NK cell subsets over the entire reproductive cycle. This was never a study we planned! So how did it come about 🤔 Time to go #BehindTheData... 1/ frontiersin.org/articles/10.33…
