I think I have a lot of trouble with the idea that an AI puts magic words in my resume to communicate in a "secret scoring language" with another AI, so the two of them can negotiate on whether I, the human, deserve a chance to be seen and talked to by another human.

Netflix ripped out React for their logged out pages and prefetched instead for their future pages 6yrs ago. The JS bundle became 80% less, load time 50%, and time to interact 50%. We know how to do make websites faster, we just choose not to.

Tbh caring about where someone worked is weird when the focus should be on the qualities of the person, there’s probably many top tier talented engineers in telecom, banking, finance etc but you’d never know because it’s not ‘FAANG’ therefore they can’t be ‘good engineers’
