Right now I would give 9-3 South Carolina, which has won 6 in a row, a very good chance of beating any team in the CFP, including Oregon and Texas.
Apparently winning at Clemson means absolutely nothing! But winning at Home to Auburn shoots you up more!
South Carolina moved up 3 spots after beating Wofford at home. They moved up 1 spot after beating #12 Clemson in their own ballpark. 😂

Lose to a ranked team, move down 5-6 spots. Beat a ranked team, move up one spot. Pretty clear the committee puts more value in the games you lose than the ones you win

What a disservice to the South Carolina Gamecocks. Three ranked wins down the stretch meant nothing in the eyes of the committee.
Louisville went from unranked to No. 16 in the selection committee’s rankings after the Cardinals beat Clemson on the road a few weeks ago. South Carolina moves up ONE spot after doing the same.
So the @GamecockFB team has more ranked wins than 9 potential playoff teams have combined. Incredible.
