Hey old timer. Your comments may get you airtime on TV but they do great harm to serving officers.

BREAKING NEWS; The First Tranche of ⁦@Keir_Starmer⁩ New Standing Army have this evening booked on duty; all Public Order Carriers now contain Dustbin Lids; specially adapted ramps & vehicle Sat Nav’s have Toilet stop locations programmed for all Motorway & A roads; 🤷‍♂️👇👍

I actually think you are wrong. Our govt are rightly focusing on the thugs that are causing the problems. If you aren’t burning police cars or mosques then they have no problem with you. For that matter neither do I.

If anyone is bored - search #FarRightThugsUnite. I think the Govt have played this one very wrong. To the many people out there labelling those who want to see the following examples; 1. Strong Immigration Controls 2. Women’s rights protected in sports 3. A culture of putting…

When Harry uses the term “however” he contradicts himself. He does great harm to policing in the UK. You would think he would know why police don’t quickly release information. It’s a police investigation.

Thugs destroying property, using extreme violence and injuring many police officers will no doubt be identified over the next few weeks. However, historically... 1 . Grouping everyone as patriots, normal people who attended two very peaceful large rallies in London, 2.…

But you played into the narrative and you forget to highlight other examples of recent violence not involving immigrants. You do harm to policing through your ego.

My interview with @Iromg on @TalkTV this morning on that non-Controversial subject of immigration 🤔 and the assault on our police officers at #ManchesterAirport. youtu.be/gp-9uzNwLZg?si…

I keep hearing some say society is broken. Why do they say that? Why do we let behaviour of a minority lead us to conclusion that society is broken. Does it get them more airtime. Does it play into their wider aims. We are a caring society. Don’t let people tell you differently

A beautiful story about the power of one. We all have the potential to do wonderful things and to make a difference in a persons life. Every contact leaves a trace. Nice words Layke.

Here goes… In late 2018, I tried to end my life on a tube platform. A woman saw what was happening, and stopped me. At the time, all I could remember about this woman were her earrings — like Qing Dynasty coins. I don’t recall much else to be honest, and I never told anyone.

I can’t help but feel the narrative around men contributes to these comments. Whilst we need to hear about the harms that some men. If that’s all we hear, do we risk perpetuating the issues we face. Men as role models is so important.

Male teachers labelled paedos' on TikTok @UnHerd "Female teachers are far from immune from abuse... but a quick glance at the #paedo hashtag on TikTok (I wouldn’t recommend it) shows that male teachers are much more likely to be defamed in this way" unherd.com/thepost/male-t…

Such a good story here. The power of community coming together to prevent an issue that impacts widely in society. Looking forward to our discussion next weekend.

Many thanks to Tomos from @BBCRadio4 for coming down to a cold Parc Stephens and interviewing us about the work we are doing to prevent violence against women. Kian, Max, Cam - you are legends!

Any chicken left on your plate dad. Nope.

Here’s the thing. Prevention requires difficult conversations. How we respond to these is important. We can get on the defence (like here)or we can balance our response both acknowledging the issues but also the healthy attitudes that we know are out there. Head in sand not good

“No significant learning occurs without a significant relationship” When you work in schools to address violence are you thinking also about supporting learning or are you focusing just on your agenda. Share the agenda. Build relationships violence reduces & learning takes place

Always a pleasure to support @EdinburghUni in their work to prevent gender based violence. Great session with wider student pop helping them gain skills/confidence to be active bystanders & support a winning culture that communicates abuse won’t be tolerated #LeadingToPrevent

Thinking the new coats make the sausages look like parking attendants. No?

Come along folks. It’s free

We are looking forward to hosting a virtual event with @Graham_Goulden and @rossdeuchar to celebrate @UKMensDay next month! We will be joined by some brilliant speakers to discuss how we can best support men and boys in Scotland. Register here: bit.ly/MensDay2020

Great to listen to @Avonolly91 talk about his experiences of mental health. It’s this revolutionary honesty that’s needed to break the stigma of suicide. Great words Aaron #SuicidePrevention #SuicideAwarenessDay #TogetherWeCanSaveLives

Some thoughts for the next cohort of individuals who will start the next @Boys_ToMen next week. @rossdeuchar @SShaljean

Lots of people have expressed interest in completing the #BoysToMen programme i have co-authored with friend @rossdeuchar Listen to this short promo to get a flavour of what we intend to cover youtube.com/watch?v=LMuuTU…

Good to see this support from across the pond for Graham’s talk. Tony has shaped a lot of the thinking behind our training

It’s true. Watch this whilst the girls feel comfortable showing emotion the boys can’t even make eye contact with each. Gender policing in all its horrible glory. G

Watch this by wrestler Mark Mero. Whilst many focus on his story I focus on the boys inability to show emotions that are both natural & emotions they are desperate to share. The boys are both being policed by others & policing others in the room. youtu.be/7EyniGvsVg8

Tony’s TED talk forms parts of our training. The #ManBox is real and needs to be discussed. Good to see this discussion.

Loved doing this with @TonyPorterACTM what’s the best way to engage men on issues of violence “Meet then where they are at”. Don’t push your views. Respect where they are and create space for conversation. Part 1. More to follow

Love this feedback on the @Boys_ToMen training. “This course helped reinforce the right of men and boys to see different ways of being and relating emotionally within themselves and to others” @rossdeuchar
