It’s incredibly perplexing to me that Ohio’s elected officials care more about where kids go to the bathroom than how $1billion of tax payer money is accounted for. Those that take the money are left off of the hook & aren’t required to follow the same rules as we do.
I love Ohio, but those in charge do not care about you, anyone else, or even the state itself. They just want power for themselves and do not care if they just leave the state to rot, which they have done for decades.
And for those of you who want to escape identity politics, we welcome you to Ohio!

Ohio's Lt. Gov. Jon Husted, goes all-in on axing the U.S. Dept. of Education. Closing it would rip away $18 billion per year from high-poverty schools, $15 billion from special education, $28 billion from Pell Grants to help high-performing kids in poverty go to college.
