What a great slide Becky.

Second Student Botany Festival had undergraduate, Masters & PhD students in ecology, horticulture, plant sciences, even botany, mixing to talk about their experiences of plants at university. Here, mature undergraduate at @ReadingBioSci @BotanyRNG @drmgoeswild #BUC2024

Ever wondered what a nearly 90-year-old @UniofReading PhD thesis looks like? Completed in 1936, “Studies on the genus Mentha” by E H Metcalf is a beautifully presented thesis which includes b&w photos, illustrations & letters to various national and international collaborators

It's @ibc2024 this week. I'm really enjoying catching up with old friends. Lots of great talks & posters. But sad to be missing my students graduation @UniofReading today. @ReadingBioSci @TomosJones92 @nattanon_bom

Today I visited the largest municipal rock garden in the U.K. It's by a busy road in #Brighton but has a really natural feeling as you get further back and up from the road. Incredible! Great urban #greenscape mybrightonandhove.org.uk/category/place…

Last year @tcddublin #Botany the sign was part painted as the painter had an accident part way through. Good to see the remaining 'otany' in glorious gold this year.
