I struggle watching my people hand out accolades to white people for giving a fuck, or at least saying they do. I wonder what the world would look like if we didn’t praise white people for caring about us, and instead held them to this expectation. blackyouthproject.com/the-bar-for-wh…
Mad props to @JerryWess and @x_factor01 for giving one of the best battles in 2018! This is how you rap! X Return was crazy and I think people are gonna be ducking Wess after this one. 🔥🔥 Battle!
Sometimes we advocate harder for drugs than we do for Black lives...
What The Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad brought was so deep and profound I’m only scratching the surface of his wisdom.

This is probably why Twitter is my least favorite social media platform. Just a bunch of short sighted, short-order, snap judgement, faux intellectual bullshit passing itself off as ‘activism’ and ‘empowerment’.
Being Black is NOT ENOUGH. If you are not immersed in the work, history, culture and heritage of your people on the daily basis...you don’t get to speak authoritatively on Black issues.
People just be writing anything and some of y’all be posting anything. No rigor, no expertise, no nothing.
The fact is that most of these Black “scholars” and “public intellectuals” are just fighting for the crumbs of grant awards and recognition in the white liberal establishment.
If you don’t read rigorously about Black people...with intellectual products produced by Black people...then why are you making prescriptive statements about Black people in your internet ‘think’ piece?
