As much as @LiberalPartyNS and the media are making it seem like the party is shocked and devastated, there is a large group within the party reacting like this privately tonight.

A minority that forced all the major parties to have leadership do-overs is the best case scenario we can hope for. Though Rankin surviving with even a minority is somewhat laudable given large swaths of his own party seemed to be trying to make him lose.

I am hoping for a minority of some description. I don't have the sense Nova Scotians are sold on any of the leaders.
Beyond the idiocy of the Liberals on this specific issue, it's yet another example of how it seems there's an element of the Liberal Party that is absolutely desperate for its own party to lose this election.
