A Case Study of the New Training Facility | BlueArmyBlog | A Carlisle United Blog Areas covered: - The Academy - The Facility - Commercials - How it will improve the football club bluearmyblog.com/post/a-case-st…

After 3 league games, Gabe Breeze is in 94th percentile for goals prevented per 90. It's a small sample size, but if he continues this level of performance after 10 games, we've basically gone from one of the worst keepers in the league (Lewis 10th percentile) to one of the best

I wasn't able to see the game, but that's only 1 goal conceded in the league in 3 games since Gabe came into the team. I have the feeling his inclusion is the point where our form is looking at turning round. Fingers crossed the goals start coming. #cufc

A well-fought point on home soil. 💪

Things are certainly improving, but for context, we haven't scored in open play since Harrogate at home (league only). And, since MW took over, we've only scored one other goal from open play (Sadi vs Grimsby). Set piece FC won't keep us up if this continues. #cufc

Removing the emotion away from the game yesterday and trying to look at the positives. It was by far our best performance of the season. A point away from home is mostly a good result in L2. Breeze did quite well again. Harris is a player. Guy was excellent. #cufc

We aren't going to get positive results against Donny and Crewe if our decision making in the final 3rd doesn't improve. We have to score when we're on top. We should've been 0-1 up at half time today. We don't have the quality on the bench to change a game at the moment.

There were so many different options available at the point when the triple subs were made. Put Harper in his natural position. Put McGeouch or Charters in CM for Harper. Put Adu-Adeji or Sadi RWB. Put two up front. Vela for Harris in a like for like was never going to work.

A game we should have won. Poor subs. Poor decision making by Williams to go to ground for the pen. Poor decision making at the end when we were through, and other times in the first half. Yes there are positives, but not good enough still in my opinion. #cufc

It ends level. 🤝

We aren't scoring with these subs 🙃

67' | Triple change for United... Williams, Burey and Harris are replaced by Charters, Ellis and Vela. Bromley 1-0 United

So frustrating to concede like that. Poor from Williams

53' | Penalty to Bromley. Bromley 0-0 United

We've been the better side. Sadi and Harris starting high and coming short when we're in possession is working really well. We need to make some better decisions in the final 3rd. If we play like this in the 2nd and keep a clean sheet, you'd expect us to score. UTB #cufc

It remains level in the capital.

Harris is definitely a player. Need to score while he's on the pitch. It's so refreshing to have someone in the team who can take a player on with some skill. #cufc

Some win that. Amazing 👏✊

HEADING INTO ROUND THREE!!! 🤩

FotMob player of the match. #cufc

It wasn't great, but a clean sheet and a goal off a corner is definitely the way to get some confidence in to the players. I thought Dom and Dan were good in the second half. #cufc

WHAT. A. WIN. 🤩

This Sky commentary is a disgrace. The commentator is so biased towards Salford

Disappointing to see Harper being played out of position again at RWB

Need to get Charters on for Neal ASAP. We can't progress the ball through the centre of the pitch at all.

Up the early morning blues

Have a watch of this video if you're into tactics. We try to adopt this shape with our players on possession. The debate is whether this approach can be successful with L2 quality players. #cufc

Welcome to the club, Rob. Looks like a good appointment on paper. Here's hoping he knows how to navigate our club through a tough time being near the bottom of the EFL. Sometimes processes and a data driven approach can't deliver results in the short term. #cufc

🤝 We are delighted to announce the appointment of Rob Clarkson as the club’s new Sporting Director. Read more ⤵️
