Solana reminds me of the old math textbooks where they would make some insane logical leap and say “the proof is left as an exercise for the reader” The read layer is left as an exercise for the application devs. Surely it can’t be that hard to drink from a firehose!

Solana RPC's lagging by ~50 slots even at just 3k TPS. With Firedancer expecting to push Solana towards 1M TPS, it’s clear the current infrastructure needs a serious overhaul.
