Stolas did slay for sure❤️. But I think Blitz felt mocked by how over the top Stolas dressed for a date with an imp who can’t afford such nice clothes to match him. It’s an insecurity rearing its ugly head making that comment imo not an intentional insult 😭💔.
People are so hard on Blitz for this comment. He didn't say it to be mean. He felt like he was dressed down in comparison and couldn't measure up, and also got surprised that Stolas was dressed like that to go to a sex club. "That's a bit overkill" wasn't an insult.
Yes, this feels so tiring to repet. But when it keeps being a constant thing in the fandom, I have to keep on repeating it!
