Labour racked up the wins this week. Lots of new initiatives to make the country fairer and greener in particular. (Though much of it didn’t make the papers.) What you might have missed:

Tory government sells an abestos ridden, abandoned prison site for £6million. Then buys it back a year later for £15million, with the asbestos. Nice work if you can get it, just not for the taxpayer. @OliverDowden @RobertJenrick @Conservatives The party of fiscal responsibility.

Welcome news today that waiting lists have fallen. Since we ended the strikes, we have been ramping up delivery of an extra 40,000 extra appointments every week. With the investment in the Budget, plus the reforms announced yesterday, we will get patients treated faster.

Not as disappointed as the Labour opposition was when you closed down sure start, slashed local government funding (and hence social care and funding to 3rd sector orgs), held a daft vanity-driven Brexit referendum, let Gove run amok with schools and Duncan-smith with welfare

I am deeply saddened and disappointed that the new Labour Government has decided to close down National Citizen Service, @NCS I began pilots for NCS in opposition, to help build bridges across social divides. Young people from different backgrounds, different areas of the…
