I hope every single person who is focusing all their energy on Coke is mandated by their employer to take the course on LinkedIn that tells you to be less white. You had your choice to fight it and you chose not to. I won't feel sorry for you at all when it comes for you.
I'm going to say it until I'm blue in the face: Why has NO JOURNALIST demanded an explanation from LinkedIn Learning about why this course is on their platform? You guys can keep screaming about Coke all you want, but LinkedIn is the platform offering this training.
Ok folks, let's walk through it: Coke did not create the "be less white" training. Robin DiAngelo did, in conjunction with LinkedIn Learning. Coke is one of MANY companies using LinkedIn as their learning platform. Hence, LinkedIn is the problem. Coke is not.
And so did every one of you. Every single time you make the choice to focus on Coke rather than LinkedIn and Robin DiAngelo, you make this fight harder and you distract people from the real problem. That is a choice YOU are making.
