Sad news - RIP Edna O’Brien. Groundbreaking and fearless author, I came to her late in her career being drawn into her books by Girl - her novel about a girl kidnapped by Boko Haram. Still so much of her work to explore. bbc.com/news/articles/…

In 2009, a lady came to a conference we had at Hampton Court, about the life of Henry VIII. She sat quietly at the back making notes. She was reputed to be a novelist. I did not know then that a goddess was walking among us.
And @DFSCare u have started the finance plan so I am now paying for the broken sofa. You could send me battery and I could send old one back and sorted within days why would you waste engineer time and lose all my and my family’s good will for a battery ?
So disappointed in @DFSCare - ordered super expensive sofa - it took longer than it should of to arrive and then when it turned up this am one of the batteries for recliner not working They won’t send new one just an engineer in 3 weeks. (1/2)
