This after ShapeShift, as a centralized exchange that nonetheless wanted to protect customer privacy, reluctantly caved into regulator pressure and implemented KYC. The only way to live up to its ethos was to decentralize. There's a lesson here. coindesk.com/shapeshift-goi…
