Can someone explain to me like I have a 3rd grade education, how getting rid of the Department of Education is a good thing?

The anticipation on Porchfest Eve is palpable. It’s not quite Christmas Eve as a kid, but for an adult that lives in Springfield, it’s pretty darn cool. @SPARJax

Stop scrolling, take a deep breath, and use the next few minutes to escape to a place where the air is sweet. 💛💚

It is thought that drinking water can help reduce stress and anxiety. Stay hydrated today folks. Oh, and go vote for Kamala Harris.

“It’s only in the context of partisan politics where someone as smart as @benshapiro / @megynkelly would take a risk like this…They would never send their kid to a school run by Trump over a school run by a median woke liberal.”

The Iowa poll is interesting but it doesn’t change the game plan. Harris likely will NOT win Iowa, but the poll does tell us that if we show up…we win. Act accordingly. Go vote. Call 3 friends and tell them to vote. Whatever it takes!

Do not let the IA poll stop you. We need every damn vote. Tomorrow is the last day for early voting. Get your asses to an early voting site!

I’ve been wearing my Harris/Walz camo hat out for several weeks. I received zero mentions until the last week. In the last few days I’ve had at least a dozen people say “I like your hat”. 100% of them have been women. Small sample size, but still interesting.

I keep seeing stories like this one. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. I don’t believe polling is properly capturing this movement. People want Trump gone so that maybe a more sane and reasonable Republican Party can reemerge.

White, over 50, college educated, lifelong (now disenfranchised) Republican. Voted down the ballot #nevertrump. I’m not the only voter like this you have lost #GOP. #vote #2024PresidentialElection #CountryBeforeParty #USAelections2024

I dropped my ballot in the mailbox today. It was my signature on the form. But it was my daughter's vote I placed inside the envelope.

This is the proper perspective. It is possible and traditionally acceptable to be able to respect another person who has opposing viewpoints. Some would make you believe this idea is a thing of the past. To that I say….pfft… you don’t understand the American spirit.

I have such respect for republicans who are not voting for Trump. Thank you. 🙏

I think people make a mistake when discussing ‘undecided’ voters. The decision isn’t between 2 candidates. It’s between voting or ‘the couch’. I feel strongly that some former Trump voters may ultimately choose the couch. I don’t blame them. He hasn’t given a good reason not to.

I have never watched a minute of the following shows. The Bachelor or Bachelorette The Voice Survivor Real Housewives of Anywhere I am not saying that makes me a better person, but I am also not saying it doesn’t.

Something that has bothered me for a long time is political pundits referring to persuadable voters in a way that seems like they are looking down their nose at them. “How could you?” Hell yeah, I’m persuadable. Currently I’m persuaded by John Kelly, Mark Milley, Mike Penc…etc

I’m not proud of all these votes but here goes: 84- Reagan 88-Bush 92-Perot 96-Perot 00-Gore 04-Kerry 08-Obama (would have been okay with McCain) 12-Obama (would have been okay with Romney 16-Stein 20-Biden 24-Harris

My Presidential Election votes: 96 - Dole 00 - W 04 - W 08 - McCain 12 - Romney 16 - Gary Johnson 20 - Biden 24 - Harris What could have changed this consistent pattern so dramatically?
