I really think people have forgotten how horrible it was to live through the pandemic with Trump in charge. He was talking about drinking bleach. Openly saying he wouldn't help blue states. Just flat out lying about the numbers. All of this, day after day after day.
Some things the Democrats have done in the last week: - passed mandatory drug testing to get public benefits in SF - nominated a war loving piece of shit for CA senate - proposed sending armed troops into subways to check bag (while banning ppl w felonies from the subways)
