Meanwhile, any brewer knows a heap of ways of adding mouthfeel and residual sugars. Higher mash temp, higher % of crystal malt, oats….
So I’ve resigned myself to the fact that craft brewers are generally cowboys who don’t list allergens. And from here on, I can’t trust their beers until they get organised or fined. Back to wine or spirits.
Getting txts from a mate out on the piss. They’re at one particular hotel and having to send the tap beers back because they’re sour. And these are pale ales and IPA’s. Oh dear. Not good enough.
Had my 1st “green death” in a long time today. It was fresh and really tasty. I’d forgotten just how good they are.
The new @prancingponysa Serenity of Speed pale ale has a lovely mouthfeel and a lingering puffy head. 👏 🍻

Just bought a crapload of beers to last the next few weeks. @PirateLifeBeer IPA is always a must. Also trying the Gage Roads Session XPA tomorrow.
The best beer on my radar in a week or so easily, Western Ridge Strawberry Gum. 3.5% but mouth filling enjoyment.
