Apparently I'm 35 today. Birthdays have changed - my favourite gift was a liberty print water bottle. My 5 and 7 year old sons couldn't understand why I was so thrilled. 😂
2nd week as an #NQP. Today I informally assessed a pre-verbal autistic child and wrote an initial report. I then assessed another child with the RAPT and saw 3 other children later on for speech sound ax! I also provided advice to a parent which I really made my day. #MySLTDay 😊
Simone Biles is incredible. The greatest gymnast in the world. Talented, hardworking, brave. And an ADHDer. The fact that children with ADHD have her to look up to as a role model is beautiful.

There’s a new campaign to get teenage girls into sport. Called #strongisbeautiful it’s been kicked off by Team GB rugby players posing in lingerie. Feels really regressive and sexist to me. Maybe I’m old.
We have a child with quite significant needs in our class, and yesterday a group of the boys squirrelled off at break time and came back with a list of suggestions to make sports day accessible for him, such as blutacking his egg to his spoon. The kids truly are alright.
