Beatriz Varco
@BeatrizVarcoI am a single mother on a mission to get justice done for my family and get an unscrupulous insurance company to compensate us for the loss of our home.
These photos show all the rubbish that has been sitting in my unhabitable house since the 2022 fire. @PolicyExperts has not bothered to take it all away, and the council is now chasing me.
A fire hit my house in 2022. @PolicyExperts has yet to compensate somewhat. They have not even bothered to take the rubbish away, and I am now receiving daily calls from the council. How they can get away with such incompetence is beyond me. @R_A_Mortimer
This case with @PolicyExperts is insane. I have spent £90,000.00 in legal fees and still no fair compensation. Besides, they still have not removed the rubbish left after their botch temporary job, and now I get calls from the council.
Since I submitted a complaint to @PolicyExperts after the 2022 fire, their attention to the case has been derogatory. They started by placing us in unsatisfactory alternative accommodation and not paying the due rental money until recently.
In my complaint to the @financialombuds, I have said that @PolicyExperts underestimated the damages to my house in the 2022 fire, and their actions have caused anguish and mental stress to me as a policyholder and my children. It is that serious!
I have submitted a formal complaint to the @financialombuds about @PolicyExperts about the fair compensation I´m still waiting for damages to my house in the 2022 fire. They have done all they possibly can to NOT honour the terms in my policy.
My battle against PolicyExperts continues. Nearly two years after the fire that left my house uninhabitable, I am still waiting for fair compensation. I am at my wit´s end. @R_A_Mortimer @BBCWatchdog
Since 2022, our once lovely home has been uninhabitable. A surveyor´s report says that the property´s water is currently black and contains high levels of harmful contaminants that would present clear health risks. Still waiting for fair compensation.
The effects of the fire that hit my home in July 2022 are huge. Surveyors have reported substantial fabric and structural damage, rotting and collapsing ceilings and floors, severe water damage, and toxic mould growth. @R_A_Mortimer
I initially rejected PolicyExperts' petty offer of £26,595.19 as unacceptable. Fair compensation shall include the thousands of pounds I have disbursed so far to hire a team of professionals to fight this case back. #insuranceinjustice #insurancevictims
It will be two years of a battle against PolicyExperts for fair compensation. After much wrangling, incomplete assessment work, and a botch temporary job, they now offer me £26,595.19 for repair work which will cost me £300,000-£500,000 @R_A_Mortimer
Luckily, none of us were at home at the time of the fire. But our dear puppy was, and she hid under a bed until firefighters rescued her. We could have lost her, but she survived—so many emotions in one unfortunate day. #insuranceinjustice
The fire that hit my home in July 2022 started in the house next to mine and spread quickly. To this day, the insurance company policyexpert.co.uk, has yet to compensate me fairly. #insuranceinjustice #insurancefail #insurancevictims
Nearly two years ago, I watched my family house burn down, our precious home engulfed in a plume of thick smoke and flames. It will be two years of my battle with the insurance company to get fair compensation. Follow me as I tell my story here.
