In the UK, only 1% of mothers meet the WHO recommendation of exclusively breastfeeding at 6 months of age, despite many mothers wishing to do so and stopping breastfeeding before they had planned to. More support is needed for women to meet their breastfeeding goals! #WBW2023

Specialist training is required to assess for TT. If the health professional has not received this training, then they are not qualified to diagnose or exclude a TT. 2/4

Barts Health Tongue-tie Service Reposted

If a TT is suspected, then the baby should be referred to an appropriately trained person for assessment. Referral should be via the local pathway or advice obtained from the local infant feeding lead. tongue-tie.org.uk/tongue-tie-inf… 3/4

The following tongue-tie assessment groups are close until further notice: Mondays -Wapping Health centre Tuesdays -Royal London Hospital We will continue to accept referrals & hold tongue-tie division clinics with some alterations to reflect necessary guidelines.

Then the last one can be Christine-grace. In the memory of our two senior managers retiring this month.

That’s 5 names for 4 babies!

We quite fancy Muffin, Peaches, Cupcake, Christine and Grace.

The stork has delivered 4 new babies to our office. They need names. Any suggestions?
