🚜That's a wrap! Show season 2024 has come to an end. 🌾It has been great visiting so many shows, talking to residents, members and celebrating the very best of our local agriculture. 💙Our upmost thanks goes to the incredible volunteers that have made this possible.
Today, the team was at Sennybridge show, celebrating our local agriculture, crafts, horticulture, and food. It’s great to welcome our members to the stand to discuss how to make the most of membership and how to get involved in our local campaigns, action days, and events.
The Liberal Democrats voted to spend £120 million on 36 more politicians and to create these new constituencies. ❌ Only the Welsh Conservatives voted against making the Senedd larger. ✅
What an absolute horror show for Welsh democracy. Voters kicked the Conservatives out of Wales because they felt treated with contempt. Now the Welsh government have gone one better and formed bizarre communities. How will this help us to solve any of the problems Wales faces?
David, maybe you should talk to the Welsh Liberal Democrat Leader @DoddsJane, who voted for 36 extra politcians and seemed very happy about the prospect, saying "we as a party have continually called for expanding the Senedd to help enhance scrutiny and ensure representation”

Ed Davey is behind the curve, the Conservatives tabled the same motion last week. We committed to keeping the Winter Fuel Allowance and so did Labour. The real question is will the Lib Dems back our motion?
🚨 NEW: Lib Dem leader Ed Davey has announced his party will table a motion to block the government’s proposed cut to Winter Fuel Payments as soon as Parliament returns from recess next week
dishonesty from this new Government. I directed over a year ago that we would not renew the contract when it came up for renewal in Dec. Starmer trying to claim he has cancelled something that was never going to happen @larisamlbrown @bbcnews bbc.com/news/articles/…
The Prime Minister and new First Minister are set to visit a wind farm in Carmarthen today, all part of plans to make the country an 'energy superpower'. The transition to renewable energy must not come at the expense of our beautiful countryside and the communities within them.
The Prime Minister and Eluned Morgan will travel to a site in West Wales today as part of their first official visit together. itv.com/news/wales/202…
😢 It’s a shame to see that the Lib Dem’s have started to dismantle the county farm estate in Powys. 🚜 Our county farms offer a great opportunity for young people to get into the industry. If this is how the Lib Dem’s support rural young people shame on them!
🥀 The new Lib Dem MP for my constituency has called for a fair deal for farmers. Let’s see if the sole Lib Dem in the Senedd backs Welsh Labours budget………. 🚜 The only political party that backs our farmers is the @WelshConserv!
🚨 The public consultation on our Welsh Farming and Countryside scheme is NOW OPEN! Have your say on our alternative to Welsh Labour's 'Sustainable Farming Scheme' by following the link below 🔗👇 conservatives.wales/WFCS
The Welsh Conservatives have just launched a consultation into an alternative to Labour's 'Sustainable Farming Scheme'.🌾 @JamesEvansMS explains why it's important that we listen to our farmers. 🚜 Have your say here! 📱💻👇 conservatives.wales/WFCS
🐑 What a week at the Royal Welsh Show! 🐄 🚜 Great to see so many people, amazing animals on show, delicious food, and fantastic discussions about the future of the industry. Feeling so lucky to have this amazing event in my constituency! #RoyalWelshShow
The farming and rural communities of Wales must be heard. 🚜🌾 Join us at the Welsh Conservative stand at the Royal Welsh at 13:00 as @JamesEvansMS launches a consultation on our alternative to the current 'Sustainable Farming Scheme'. 📃

Children's reading standards in Wales are being left 'completely to chance' amid concerns about levels of attainment, a teacher says bbc.in/3LsZurr
🚨 BREAKING: The latest NHS statistics for Wales are SHOCKING. They reveal that waiting lists in Labour-run Wales have increased AGAIN to a new record high. 📈 𝟳𝟴𝟳,𝟵𝟰𝟵 are waiting for treatment. 🏴 1-in-4 people in Wales 🏴 Short thread.👇 1/4🧵
The Senedd lost confidence in Vaughan Gething over a month ago. Today, the Cabinet have come to the same conclusion. His position is untenable. This is a seismic day in Welsh politics.
Labour's First Minister in Wales is facing another crunch vote this week in the Senedd. Our motion could force the release of evidence around a ministerial sacking. “Taking his word for it isn’t an option.” ✍️ @AndrewRTDavies writes for @GBNEWS 👇 gbnews.com/opinion/vaugha…
A call to action to support our farmers, foster young talent, and ensure the long-term sustainability of our rural communities was thrown out by the Liberal Democrats in Powys today. …nradnorandcwmtaweconservatives.org.uk/news/councillo…
So, if the iMessage was an internal Labour group communication, as VG originally claimed, then the Ministerial Code of Conduct doesn’t apply as it would cover only Welsh Government communications and not internal party ones. If VG now concedes it was a Welsh Government…
Vaughan Gething stands by decision to sack minister Hannah Blythyn itv.com/news/wales/202…
