@BSidesCleveland leadership stepping down, formal announcement soon following conversation with BSides global.
We own our poor decision making and again apologize to the community for not communicating the final lineup. Should BSides Cleveland continue again, this will not happen again.
We communicated with him between then and now, and when he felt like he might be at a point to get back to speaking, we added a Special Guest to the lineup. Two weeks ago Chris confirmed he would like to try to speak, and we neglected to remove the Special Guest on the lineup.
@BSidesCleveland apologizes for putting our attendees, sponsors, and the BSides organization for not specifiying the final lineup. Chris was booked in the fall of 2021, and then pulled himself out after the allegations.
Whelp, many apologies to @relicscoth who got slotted in a 30 minute slot after we told him he got accepted for a 60 minute slot, we really dropped that ball #BSidesCLE
