According to the Daily Mail, taxpayers laid out ONE BILLION DOLLARS for Bill & Chirlane’s mental health initiative, Thrive. They were unable to account for $850M. Why hasn’t there been an investigation and how much more taxpayer money will you be needing? Please be specific.

When I’m Mayor, we will end street homelessness of severely mentally ill people in NYC. That will mean a safer city, and a more humane one.

The 'defund the police' and 'close our jails' candidate is pointing fingers at everyone but himself. Make no mistake: the policies he has advocated for over the years are directly responsible for the repeated offenders roaming our streets and hurting innocent New Yorkers.

This tragedy is yet another example of the City’s leadership failing all New Yorkers. Our “system” of cycling  mentally ill people from subway to street to hospital to Rikers and back again is making us all less safe. Yesterday, it was deadly. We need effective leadership…

I am extremely proud to announce that @NYCSanitation Commissioner Jessica Tisch — a real #GetStuffDone New Yorker — will be our next NYPD commissioner. Commissioner Tisch is battle-tested and has proven herself time and time again while leading the team at @NYCSanitation

Last week, we closed up another one of Mr. Rat's all-you-can-eat buffets! Remember, trash must go in lidded containers for properties with 1-9 residential units. Learn more at: bins.nyc

The @UnionSquareNY holiday market is back!

Instead of taking responsibility for pushing laws that release dangerous criminals into our streets again and again, he is blaming others for the carnage that his policy initiatives have caused on the streets of New York. You did this, Brad, and the voters know it.

New Yorkers are fed up with a performative, do-nothing Comptroller who spends more time attending rallies, protests, and press conferences—flanked by security detail—than doing the job. Voters are rightfully “pissed off,” and nothing you offer will change that.

Like I said on @AymanMSNBC: Voters are pissed off. Democrats have got to wake up and deliver on the bread and butter issues that matter to people. And our answer to Donald Trump has to be both to protect people from all the harm he’s going to cause, and to deliver safer, more…

Biggest swings towards Trump, by state (corrected from an earlier post): 1. New York 11.5% 2. New Jersey 10.1% 3. Florida 9.8% 4. Massachusetts 8.7% 5. California 8.4% 6. Texas 8.3% 7. Mississippi 7.7% 8. Rhode Island 7.0% 9. Tennessee 6.5% 10. Illinois 6.4%

.@bradlander just a short 4 years ago: “My commitment to working to defund the NYPD”. Voters do want safe cities, which is why they don’t want you.
