It really is night and day how the NYT frames these two conflicts: Russia is clearly the author of the suffering, they actively do the bad thing. Israel is not even in the headline, there is no responsible agent, just a “deadly strike” of mysterious origin.

Criticism of the org is due, but the rash of injuries year after year is mind blowing. I’ve followed pro and college football for years and can barely recall any teams hit by waves like the Angels consistently get hit by.

We heard "otherwise, why even play the games?" ~400 times this evening re: Bama, Texas, etc. FSU won all its games. No other sport (pro or college) and no other level of football would deprive the Noles a shot at the title. If they don't get into the CFP, why even play the games?
