Taking a small loss when you are wrong while doubling down when you are right This is something lot of traders don't really get until they get it finally after paying a crazy amount of market tuition $SPX
Adding on a losing position is one of the MOST destructive habit many new traders do. They don't want to lose, they believe they are right and market will turn in their favor. BIG mistake. Only add to winners. It's better to take an L small, let winners grow $SPX
Focus on the "What is happening currently" rather then "Why is it happening". You don't need to know Why right now $SPX
