The boy Abdelrahman Fayez Al-Sharif was one of the 111 Palestinian civilians killed by the Israeli bombardment in Gaza yesterday.
A moment of silence for the loss and fragmentation of Arab identity. As a people we are not whole. The external trauma needs to end and the healing needs to begin, or the risk of erasure is real.
This is the rhetoric that western politics supports unconditionally.

To call violence that was sparked in response to Israeli football hooliganism a “pogrom” while Israel has also announced it is banning all Gazans from returning to the North of the strip, following a year of genocide…my brain, it actually can’t handle this level of gaslighting.
