📸 ⚽️ A huge congratulations to Harry in Yr 5 who successfully claimed a place on the U11’s Blackburn with Darwen Town Team after a series of trials with over 70 Yr 5/6 boys from our borough 👏🏻. Harry will also be working with Mr Clegg who is part of the coaching team this year.
📸 🏀 Over thirty children from Year 5 and 6 braved the cold weather to take part in netball club again after school. The children are certainly improving their skills ✔️ 👏🏻

📸 ⚽️ What a night for the football team 🤩. The boys played absolutely amazing to win both of their games (3-0 & 4-0). The teamwork, passion and desire to work hard for each other was phenomenal and they played some excellent football⚡️Special shoutout to Jack in the goals! 🧤
📸 ⚽️ Odd Socks Football! Football club for 38 pupils after school was a crazy one yesterday as we celebrated #AntiBullyingWeek2024 by wearing odd socks during training 🧦. We played lots of games in a tournament on the yard 😀✔️.
📸 🤩 A super start for Avondale tonight 🔥⚽️. The winter league kickstarted down at Witton Park and the boys were thrilled to win both of the opening fixtures (4-2 and 3-0) 👏🏻. There were some fantastic goals scored and the boys gelled brilliantly as a new team 😃✔️.
📸 🤩 The girls signed off the league yesterday with two tremendous results (a win and a draw) and they made all of us incredibly proud with their effort, commitment and passion ⚽️💫. All of the girls have played brilliantly all season 👏🏻

📸 🤩 The girls performed brilliantly tonight at Witton Park to earn two draws (1-1) against Ashleigh and St Barnabas ⚽️. Both games were played in great spirit by all involved and the girls were a pleasure to watch. The whole team represented Avondale superbly ✔️ 💫
