Am I the only one concerned about the background? No one on news seems to notice it? He didn’t “accidentally” sit there!
So far most of my typos that go out are the “corrections” made by auto- correct. Try a new method called “proofread” important stuff before sending!
I am totally unimpressed by everything I’m seeing on Apple Event. I hope it is easy to turn off these “features”
I originally joined to show my Grad students what to expect their students would be using. Hard to believe it was 12 years ago and how much Twitter has changed!
Just learned that Amazon is selling my book about HyperDuino for LESS that I can get it from the printer! Grab one while they have it in stock! Lots of ideas and techniques. amazon.com/Hyperduino-Ide…
Thanks for the compliment! Amazing that Amazon is actually selling my book for LESS than I can get it from the printer! It IS a bargain! Loved writing that book and working with the HyperDuino!
The remaining Fry's Electronics stores are all shutting down engt.co/3dD1b61
Calculating Ada: The Countess of Computing is on @BBCTwo this coming Friday 22nd Jan at 2pm and available on BBC iPlayer after broadcast. #AdaLovelace bbc.co.uk/programmes/p03…
Added some IR sensors to the smartcar, following the line nicely after lowering the speed from 80 to 40! @rogerwagner @microbit_edu @TheMakerBit #makerspaces #microbit
Merry Distanced Christmas to all! Seems like a good time to share my mini Bouche de Noel-not with you! For those who dream of someday creating a bouche but with no baking skills... bring in Little Debbie! 😊
Phrase of the Day: YULE HOLE (Scots, archaic) — the last hole to stretch one’s belt to at a Christmas feast.
Seriously? They are planning Macy's parade and an inauguration parade? Does anyone read history? Like 1918 Philadelphia's War Bond Parade? smithsonianmag.com/history/philad… “Within 72 hours of the parade, every bed in Philadelphia’s 31 hospitals was filled.” Within weeks 4500 had died.
You can check out a tiny book about my HyperDuino pinball machine from my website. It is in an online library of some of my tiny HyperDuino and MakerBit books. auntgoodiebags.com.
Should be thelittlemuseum.net
You might want to check out my little museum. I had my students make a museum in my art room (when I was teaching). This is my online version (and a movie about my demo HyperDuino museum). Let me know if you want to know more! Bit.ly/thelittlemuseu…
One of the BEST episodes! Will have to try to do this!
OH MY DAYS THE MATT SMITH SAID YES. He's tweeting (via my account) for the whole episode! 1st time ever on twitter! FFS join us on Monday, find 'Vincent And The Doctor' on any platform (iPlayer, Netflix, Amazon etc) and press play at 7pm. Then check #TheUltimateGinger *faints*
Please please please— if you are being thrown into remote teaching because of virus... START with something SIMPLE so Ss (and YOU) gain confidence #BetterTogether
Online teaching is not the same as teaching in front of a classroom. Teachers are being thrown into teaching online without much training. I cannot imagine the problems they will face. I hope students will keep an “at home” journal/ scrapbook using Book Creator. #BetterTogether
