1921 Graves Excavation at Oaklawn Cemetery begins today.

New to Oaklawn Cemetery, signage to learn more about the 1921 Graves Investigation. The interactive signage gives an overview of the 1921 Race Massacre & Investigation, which also includes a video & audio translations in English, Spanish, Zomi & Burmese. Work will begin on 6/1.

Have you seen the City’s new “Highlight” sculpture?

Councilors joined the Mayor for the dedication of a new public art piece at the Cox Business Convention Center called “Highlight.” The sculpture “Highlight” consists of three elements – a plug, an electrical cord and a light bulb – representing Tulsa’s past, present and future.

On Monday, Mayor Bynum, Councilor Vanessa-Hall Harper and other community leaders celebrated the grand opening of Oasis Fresh Market in North Tulsa. The grocery store will provide fresh food and groceries in a new space located next to the Shoppes on Peoria just north of Pine.
