Rest well Prof
Today, we said goodbye to my dear friend and mentor, Professor Mike Wilson. I deeply regret not being able to attend his funeral, but the tribute his family shared was truly beautiful. His wisdom, kindness, and support will be missed by so many. Rest in peace, Professor Wilson.

Poster day! Do pass by Poster 6992. A summary. Midgut bacteria in Anopheles gambiae mosquitoes from Ghana produce by- products that are capable of reducing Plasmodium development. In vitro experiments demonstrated significant reduced gametocyte growth with by-products obtained
after 4 and 6 hours of bacterial culture, but was rescued at 12 hours. This suggests that the antagonising component is limiting and produced only at specific growth phases of the bacteria.
It is an honour to be a recipient of this prestigious award🤩🥳🎉
🎉Congratulations to this year's ACME Young Investigator Travel Award recipients for outstanding research on arthropods of medical importance! @stevieafriyie @juli_vbd @Millicentopk @mercytuweij and Rosa Margarita Gélvez Ramírez! @ASTMH #TropMed24
