anon period in NLP venues is a bad idea that does a lot of harm and no good whatsoever. let's get rid of it. (if someone can demonstrate a good outcome, and I mean demonstrate, not just hand-wave about equality, I am open to hearing and being convinced otherwise).

Why aren't any recent LLMs (OPT, PaLM, etc.) using "efficient" architectures (Reformer, Longformer, etc.)? There's 20+ of them, and they've been around since 2020! Are they actually *not* more efficient?
