6/This plan, frankly, sucks. And we're not saying that because we're NIMBYs. We want development. We need new housing built. But a liveable neighbourhood needs green space, arts space, room for social services & non-profits, and most importantly, affordable housing.
5/An extra ~300k sq. ft. of commercial/retail space is coming—to a neighbourhood with a huge mall in the middle. The "core and shell" of the historic Kent School building is being offered up as space for a new 30k sq. ft. community hub. Non-profits will have to pay to fix it up.
Feel Good Lane, just North of St. Clair West and East of Winona, is an adventurous walk through colorful murals, imaginative stories and creative place making. It provokes a warm smile, even on a cold night.
