Dear PDs, We don't want IMGs to be interviewed because they are IMGs. But we don't want them to be excluded either for being IMGs. IMGs bring value and strength to training program and healthcare workforce.

Programs without IMG residents should not call them diverse. Having IMGs among residents add a lot more value to the program and resident education/exposure. Hiring a 2nd generation immigrant is not same as hiring 1st generation immigrant. Asking for equity, not equality.
