Some Conservative MPs think they are worth £1,500 per hour, yet don’t think Junior Doctors should start on more than £14. In reality all doctors want is fair pay after more than a decade of real terms pay cuts. Please RT if you agree they deserve it. metro.co.uk/2023/03/25/top…

To conclude: no matter what people try to tell you about the NHS, you cannot let it fail. You simply can't. You can't afford the alternative, and you can't afford to assume it won't happen to you. It can happen to anyone. It's our most precious and vital service. Cherish it.
Our emergency services at Glangwili Hospital are currently experiencing critical pressures (Thursday 29 June 2023). This is due to a high number of patients presenting with a range of complex needs.
Thirteen men appeared in court yesterday charged with more than 50 child grooming sex offences including raping girls as young as 14 over a two-year period. But yeah…usual suspects eh. Full story: itv.com/news/granada/2…
#APPEAL | We are appealing for witnesses after a woman was allegedly assaulted on the 302 bus to Hubberston, from Haverfordwest, at around 4.25pm yesterday (Friday, 30 March). A man (59) is in custody, arrested on suspicion of common assault in connection to the incident. ⬇️

Hello hello 👋 #IWD2023 is nearly here, and so are companies' cut-and-paste platitudes. And once again we're bringing you the data to see whose support for #InternationalWomensDay is genuine, and who's still got work to do. Here's a reminder of how it works ⬇️ (1/8)
Oh my god @KeelyJames19 😱😍
So pleased to see this today- Asda catering for children with a feeding tube! All little princesses deserve a twirly dress! Applause to @Georgeatasda Inclusivity for all our CYP no matter their medical need.
A must read 👏🏻
Wrote this for @theipaper Swear to god, the patronising assumption that poor folk haven't spent their whole life learning how to live cheaply & somehow need *educating* on this will be my personal death...you can't cut back where there's nothing to cut. inews.co.uk/opinion/feedin…
This thread, this story 🙏🏻👏🏻
🍕 “Hi, is that Dominos?” 🍕 That’s what a woman asked when she phoned 999 recently. One of our incident handlers, Emma, replied by telling the caller she’d phoned police – only for the woman to ignore this and ask for a pizza ‘immediately’ ⬇️⬇️⬇️
Very proud of my pal @BenJCole19 today. About a year ago, he made the bold decision to follow his dream - even though it meant taking a step back career-wise, and some quite tough decisions. But today, he passes out to become PC 83 (lovely ring to it). Llongyfarchiadau, ffrind 👮♂️
TRAFFIC UPDATE | There are currently delays on Old Hakin Road, Haverfordwest due to a collision. Please be patient and take an alternative route if possible, or plan extra time into your journey.
Today our strike action begins, and nursing staff need your solidarity. Share this if you stand with those fighting for a safer future for nursing, patients, and the NHS. #RCNStrike #FairPayForNursing
This is a brilliant thread ⬇️
Strikes thread. Let's assume you agree that there is *some* theoretical point at which it's impossible to survive on your salary. If you're paid 1p a year, you can't survive. You can argue about the amount, but the concept is undeniable. At some point, people can't survive.
People are using this tweet to further their transphobic agendas so I just want to say: none of that shit is welcome here. Using a story like mine argue that trans women shouldn’t be allowed in women’s bathrooms is despicable. I will always support and fight for trans rights ❤️
16 years ago, I was violently raped in a McDonald’s bathroom by a man who I thought would kill me when it was over. Today I ducked into a McDonald’s bathroom to check my make-up on the way to Buckingham Palace to talk to Camilla about rape reform and ending violence against women
I don’t care that Matt Hancock “comes across so well” on @imacelebrity His decision to stop community covid testing on the 12th March 2020 led to my brothers death, alone & at home 4 weeks later Ditto 10000s of others I cannot forget that & nor should you
Earlier this week we shared the story below – about a brave little boy who got in touch after his dad had hurt his mum and he was worried it would happen again. Unsurprisingly, a lot of you have asked what’s happened since he made that call, so we wanted to update you ⬇️
Some time in the last month, one of our 999 handlers answered a call from a little boy who was so, so upset by what had just happened at home. He’d seen his dad hurting his mum because she wouldn’t give him something he wanted ⬇️
🤍 To mark White Ribbon Day – a day when people around the world unite in a pledge to end violence against women and girls – Det Supt Jayne Butler has a message for those living with domestic abuse. Please come forward, speak out and get the support you need to live a safe life.
