I've been testing @AnthropicAI's new Claude 3 Opus (the premium version) on law-related use cases. It is at least as good as GPT4 and better in many cases. (This was not true of Gemini, in my experience.) Impressive.
Thank you to the staff of @SuffolkLawRev for their help with preparing a draft of this essay on the legal ethics of generative AI: papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers.cf… All comments and feedback welcome.
Here's a custom version of ChatGPT offering basic legal information and referrals to available resources: chat.openai.com/g/g-80NJ7RLwq-…….Assuming tools like this could be made freely available, how helpful would they be in addressing the A2J crisis?
Great op-ed in Bloomberg from my @Suffolk_Law colleague @QSteenhuis on how to scale pro bono work through legal tech. news.bloomberglaw.com/us-law-week/he…
Thanks to @ABAJournal's Victor Li and the @LegalRebels podcast series for inviting me to talk about ChatGPT's implication for lawyers, law students, and legal services. lnkd.in/e_CzMV-9 @LegalTalkNet

Andrew Perlman, dean of Suffolk University Law School, said he would like to see first-year legal research and writing classes cover the use of tools like ChatGPT, just as they teach students to conduct research on Westlaw and LexisNexis 5/7
Law teachers! Look @ what a still primitive version of AI chatbot can do! Ask ?s you posed in your exams this year. Not yet super accurate, but you might get few barely passing answers. @FareedZakaria also discusses @Suffolk_Law dean @Andrew_Perlman paper w/ @openai Assistant.
Today’s last look: more human than human? How a new AI chatbot could portend big changes in work and education
