🇱🇾 #Libya has been a key focus of United Nations Security Council (#UNSC) since the 2011 revolution. 🚨 Despite these efforts, Libya remains a highly fragile country, with #illicitmarkets more deeply entrenched since 2011 than they were at any point before the revolution.


I had the absolutely honor to meet so many brilliant individuals, working under very hard conditions to make their communities safer, strengthen their resilience to #OrganizedCrime and promote #HumanRights. Their stories and projects are inspiring!

🗣️ During their time in Vienna, the 2023 #GIResilience Fellows discussed the links between #organizedcrime and #humanrights violations, and community level responses. 🌐 They also presented challenges and resilience building efforts to the diplomatic community.
