One of my fabulous RLA teammates ,Kristina,talked about how she would tell her kids that they needed to read like they eat pizza... one bite at a time. So, last year, I bought gummy pizza, and it stuck with the kids. So,tomorrow, we have our pizza talk along with gummy pizza.
Taking a simple sentence: She is at the dentist. Making it an expanded sentence: Dora blubbered into Cavity dentist office because she had 13 cavities. Or Dora meandered into Cavity Cast dentist office because she didn't want the dentist to see her 13 cavities. #parkviewproud

Updating my WICOR board... My goal is that the kids will take over and write down what we are working on each day... Instead of just pushing the light I want them to connect it to what they are doing in the classroom.
