Unbearable and unacceptable
Institutional disablism and dehumanising so called care #CawstonPark … so so sick of this becoming a familiar narrative
I notice nether @NHSNWCCG @NHSEngland @DHSCgovuk nor @NorfolkCC are mentioning the tragic deaths at Cawston Park on their own twitter feed or what they’re doing to prevent further deaths of people with autism and learning disabilities at units 10 years on from Winterbourne View.
The report into the deaths of 3 patients at Cawston Park has urged the Gov & local agencies to take action to protect people with learning disabilities. It found failings we've seen so many times before in relation to people who have learning disabilities. bit.ly/Ben_King

My child, in hospital earlier in the year, no camhs follow up or help, incident last evening, ambulanced, been with them in A&E since, I'm trying to sleep on floor, no beds available on ward for them, still waiting for #Camhs THE #MH SYSTEM IS BROKEN #autism
