Too many players who had incredible seasons last year regressed this year. The schedule has to be a factor. Makes what Salah and Saka are doing even more miraculous. Best 2 players in the league by some distance.

I think Arsenal's main problems is that we need to generate damn near impossible to miss chances to score. Can't even remember the last time someone - other than Partey - scored a difficult chance. This isn't sustainable.

To be fair - we also needed to get back some of the money we spent last year but so far all 3 signings have not elevated us one bit.
The club tried to wing it this summer. We had the chance to be aggressive and chose to roll the dice, going into a season with a front 3 that we’ve lucked in on. An academy player, a £7m teenager, and someone we signed as a midfielder. The club was not serious about winning.

At what point do you ask questions about the summer transfer business? The budget spent on a LB (We have 17 of them), Merino (jury is out) and Sterling (played 5 minutes all season). Arteta and Edu both responsible.
