Hate this feeling post-exam while waiting for the result. Worrying about my and others' results. I cannot even focus to do corrections and slides for consultation viva tomorrow. 😵💫

Mental disorders can definitely be "coherent responses to the trials of life," but what makes them pathological is that the same defenses that proved useful and adaptive at earlier stages have now outlived their utility and are maladaptively applied to the entire world.
I suppose my ‘thing’ comes down to this: I don’t think mental disorders are like little diseases, to be labeled and drugged. I think they’re coherent responses to the trials of life, or just different, and equally valid, modes of existence, with their own strengths and pitfalls.
Frankly, I always thought that Tiktok is the bane of this younger generation. Might be educational for some, but definitely causing more harm to most of them.

I always admired those who were able to share publicly regarding psychiatry and mental health issues. Even at my level now, I still think that there's a lot that I don't know. + never liked the attention from others. 😌
