I've been very quiet on socials , making noise and waves in the background, one year in post 12 new volunteers, who are supporting others on the transition process from the prison gate to community. Thees guys were on the brink of extinction, now giving of themselves to others

Prevention of the revolving door of prisons doesn't only starts from the prison Gate pick ups, like our mentors provide, Prevention starts when you prevent young people going into the system/prisons in the first place we deliver that to the curriculum @JennyGilruth @AConstance23

We spoke about this yesterday @traceymcfallCEO in certain circumstances and life threatening situations we bend the boundaries, not break them but bend them enough to make changes.
The past week we had three gate pick ups All three over the first 72hrs if not before were Housed, medical care, Benefits, two stop benefit claims as they start work this week! Thanks to our staff, volunteers, coordinator @KevinNeary12 and partners for making this possible.
Thanks to @scottishprisons HMP Shotts & HMP & YOI Polmont staff, for your continued support in supporting our mentors with our gate pick ups. Shouldn't really use the term Gate as it is from reception we pick up from! All in this together!
