2023 chemistry laureate Moungi Bawendi revolutionised the methods for manufacturing quantum dots (nanoparticles so tiny that quantum effects determine their characteristics), making their quality extremely high – a vital prerequisite for their use in today’s nanotechnology.

Two of our developed in Africa, Afrobods, (recombinant alpaca antibodies) to human CD9 are packed and ready for shipment to one of our USA based customers. It is getting busy in the lab here in South Africa as we start shipping more of our catalogue of Afrobods around the world.

Wondering why we had not tweeted in a while?? :) well we were busy with quite a few new projects making some new nanobodies for clients. The first 6 of them were shipped to the UK today to a client there via our UK and Ireland Distributor @2BScientific Onto the next order now! :)

Ah these stats natasha you need to question more seriously. Every stat has an agenda. By the time vaccines reached poor countries the majority of population had either immunity or died. South africa got vaccines quicker outside covax. Covax failed africa is other view.

and prevented 7.4m deaths in the poorest "AMC" countries that Covax was particularly hoping to reach. How does that stack up in fairness? Globally 63% of total deaths were avoided. But in AMC countries only 41% were averted. Had there been more equal access to vaccines...

Another day another customer shipping us some proteins to make some great alpaca single domain antibodies for them. This package comes from the UK via our UK and Ireland sales agent @2BScientific make sure to contact them so you can be next to get some great alpaca antibodies!
