In commemoration of World Environment Day happening on the 5th of June, volunteers of @IbadanSdgs in conjunction with the Cleaner And Healthier Nigeria Initiative was at Dugbe Market to sensitize market men and women on the dangers of plastic wastes.
There is a reason why the last goal is a partnership for the goals. This is because the goals can not be achieved in isolation. To make the goals achievable, we must come together as one and act accordingly.

Over the years, Nigerians have sold their vote, rights, and conscience for tokens, cups of rice or branded t-shirts. The time is now to sensitize the masses especially the youths ahead of the forthcoming general election. It is not too early to start now.

Plastics are good inventions but it's dangers outweighs its benefits. There is no absolute replacement for it yet, but in the meantime, we can learn to recycle, reuse, and refuse to use unless it's necessary. This will reduce pollution and save water bodies.
