Timely screening and Vaccination save lives! Don’t delay - if late-stage cases are ⬆️ in US, this emphasizes the urgency for global awareness and access to care especially in LMICs #cervicalcancer @WHO 90-70-90 @gatesfoundation @IPVSociety #hpv #vaccine @NCIGlobalHealth 👇🏽

Late-stage cervical cancer cases are on the rise. Researchers found an overall 1.3% increase per year in advanced stages of the disease — with the greatest increase taking place among white women in the South ages 40 to 44. n.pr/3pz7uw4

“If you are experiencing burnout at work, setting boundaries can help you regain some control.” - Life is too short!

You may have heard of "quiet quitting." It's the choice to do only your assigned work — and nothing more. But some experts say it's a misnomer for simply setting healthy workplace boundaries and refusing to be exploited for free extra labor. n.pr/3T44i9c

This cluster randomized controlled trial reported a significant increase in cervical cancer screening uptake among women living in a semi-urban setting in Nepal. sciencedirect.com/science/articl…

What factors are associated with #cervical #Cancer #screening utilization in #Nepal ? bit.ly/3yNJIk9 @AamodDhoj

Our review reports that cervical cancer screening utilization is much lower than the national recommendations and highlights barriers and facilitators to screening, which could help inform future interventions in Nepal. authors.elsevier.com/sd/article/S00…

Hot off the press! Two simplified approaches had the lowest #hypertension misdiagnosis rates: 5.8% using 2nd BP measurement, & 5.6% using 2nd BP measurement if the first one was 130–145/80–95 mm Hg. Next step is to test this in the field & then adopt it in clinical guidelines.

A new study looks at simplified vs. standard #bloodpressure screening approaches in multiple countries. Findings show that simplified approaches may be sensible and could increase the # of people screened for hypertension in resource-constrained settings. journals.plos.org/plosmedicine/a…

STUDY PROTOCOL: Mobilizing FCHVs to educate women and encourage them to participate in cervical cancer screening could be an acceptable and culturally appropriate intervention that needs to be tested. #COBIN_C #cRCT #CervicalCancerAwarenessMonth #Nepal rdcu.be/cegDO
