Offensively, two most disappointing Pens have to be DOC and Bunting. Both should have tracked for 20G and 40-50 pts. DOC has 4 pts and team worst -14. Bunting has same pt total despite practically building a tent in front of opposing goalies most nights. Two of many problems.
Two ways one can look at this Penguins team at 6-9-3. They have points in 9 of 18 games. I'll take that given their struggles. They'll figure it out enough to improve the pts %. OR That's only 0.33 win %. You're looking at under 30 wins on that trajectory. Sell the farm.
The Pens need Rust healthy so they can spread the lines back out. They need Jarry back in top form. They need more from DOC and Bunting. But we all need to stop acting like this is a good team doing bad things. This is a bad to middling team doing what such teams do.
