It was a wild and wonderful day at Terry Elementary yesterday! ๐๐ข Students had a blast learning all about wildlife, unique animal features, and their habitats thanks to a special visit from Carolina Critters! From furry friends to scaly creatures, memories were made!

We might be thinking we are helping, however, if we are setting LOW expectations for students because of their backgrounds, race, statusโฆ.that is a form of MICROAGRESSION. As educators, we must recognize this and ensure that we are NOT lowering the rigor or expectations.
There are great things happening at @lrsd_terry! We had School Kit walkthroughs today and seeing our students engage in rigorous tasks made my๐ so happy. We are seeing some great growth. We are small but we are mighty. So proud @DrJermallWright #smallsteps
